Clear Robotics’ zero emissions, autonomous, unmanned surface vessel can deliver several marine services on inland waterways and oceans, providing customers with autonomous, sustainable and low-cost operations for marine services such as pollution recovery, port security, draft surveys, inspections, bathymetric survey, and water quality monitoring. The vessels are also designed to be modular and remotely controlled.

Open Ocean Robotics’ solution detects small craft without AIS transponders, identifies unusual behaviours, and provides real-time alerts to ship operators. It utilises a hardware and software platform with robotics, AI, and long-endurance uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs) equipped with visual and thermal computer vision to monitor areas of interest. Detections are transmitted in real-time to a secure cloud-based portal, and supports real-time response, post-incident investigations, and legal proceedings.

GT Wings is a startup set up to deliver disruptive wind propulsion technology to the commercial shipping industry. The company has developed a patented wind propulsion system, AirWing, that boasts industry-leading thrust coefficients due to a unique way of manipulating the flow around the device. AirWing provides substantial thrust while maintaining a compact and lightweight design.
